In 2011, Nikken Sekkei ranked 12th for the Best Workplaces in Japan out of 151 companies according to The Great Place to Work Institute (GPTW).
As of 2011, Nikken has 2,823 employees worldwide of which 1,040 are architects and 1,569 are engineers.
The Institute employs a three-pronged approach to help organizations develop mutual trust between employees and management. It first surveys workers and assesses corporate culture at their respective firms. From this survey, the Institute identifies the best companies to work. It then uses these best companies as benchmarks to evaluate other firms.
Since our first recognition as one of the top 25 Best Workplaces in 2010, GPTW has been one of the most considerable factors in our corporate planning.
We also ranked 2nd in the “Pride” section among five significant elements: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride, and Camaraderie.
Nikken Sekkei will continue to improve our work environment and foster corporate culture, which we believe will enhance our creativity and quality.
