Outline

The concept of this spiral tower is an expression of the entwined, rising enthusiasm of the 3 different schools of fashion, computer science and medicine. Each school is housed in a rotating wing around the central core, exploiting planning incentives of orientation and open space. The 3D curvature is achieved through a triangular gridded dual-layer glass curtain wall incorporating an energy saving ventilation system. Extensive use of high-precision construction techniques is made including the latest structural engineering design methods to ensure the highest grade of earthquake safety. Utilizing a DHC system and directly connecting to the underground street, the tower contributes positively to its urban environment.
