Outline

This symbolic tower of Chinese communication enterprise comprises an IT museum, IT mechanical functions and offices. Integrating these complex facilities into an open mass with comfortable urban environment under the given site constraints was the major subject to be resolved. The podium with lateral windows is divided in 2 volumes corresponding to each mechanical function. The super structural frames of these dual cores supports the office floors above while realizing a vast flexible yet secure space below accommodation the IT museum. Its column-free atrium is 35m high provides the tower a dynamic sense of lightness and openness to its public space.
