Outline

Islamic Development Bank is an international financial organization established for the development of aid for more than 40 Islamic countries.

This project is a complex comprising a bank office, international conference halls, welfare management office and car parks. Two individually functioned towers of banking administrations and research facilities are united by a single roof structure as a visually integrated office tower. In order to block the strong sunlight, minimal numbers of slits are installed on the external walls, while the shaded central patios are covered with glass walls to obtain natural light and the view of Red Sea.

Detailed studies and processes have been done to harmonize the building with the local climate and to achieve the integration of the Islamic design and the modern architectural techniques.
