This multi-use complex of office, hotel and commercial facilities owned by the Pacific Century Group and East Japan Railway Company has been designed with the image of the "ingot of glass". To achieve long life durability, "simplicity" was always the key concept considered for overall organization to its detailed design. The 25-story office with high adiabatic dual glass curtain walls is raised 30m aboveground by 4 CFT pillars with a diameter of 3.2m each, and other functions were accommodated at its foot. The facilities near the ground were aimed to offer serenity as well as coziness in the middle of a metropolis.
