Located at the corner of the Shiodome redevelopment district, directly connected to Shiodome Station the building looks over Hamarikyu Palace toward Tokyo Tower. The upper section containing 3,600sqm net office floor plates planned to maximize these views, sits atop a 500 guest room hotel and 40m high atrium entrance, the highest in Shiodome. For the first time in skyscraper building, the upper and lower sections are seismically isolated at mid-level achieving a 50% reduction in tremor during a significant earthquake. This has allowed 25m x 12.8m column spacing facilitating panoramic office views, and an atrium curtain wall of float glass.
