Outline

This project called for the rebuilding of the 40-year-old INAX showroom in an innovative effort to allow the entire building to function as an Osaka landmark and an eye-catching display space for INAX products. The front façade curtain wall features specially designed terracotta ceramic tiles uniquely crafted for the building. These unique triangular terracotta tiles sandwiched with glass represent a fresh approach that expresses INAX's corporate identity as a tile manufacturer. Techniques employed to reduce environmental loads include the use of waterless lavatory units and waste reduction through extensive recycling of original building materials.
