Renai Aoyama Building

In this multiple tenanted commercial building, a column-free space was achieved inside by exposing the steel frame externally while making it invisible from rentable spaces. Despite the challenge posed by the unusually shaped building site, the office spaces are highly efficient with regular floor plates for flexible usage. Innovative design techniques reduced interior floor height while maintaining sufficient ceiling height. Double-skin façades allow for space to showcase events or displays and make for an excellent indoor environment. Glass-ribbed LED edge lights facing the street change colors at night, providing an eye-catching display for passers-by.
