Outline

Following the 3 notions of beauty - esthetic, art, gourmet- that is offered by POLA Corporation as the theme for the building, it adopted the concept of "water" and "light" which are the essential elements for shiny fresh skin and "time" that symbolizes the various image of life. To provide "varying" and "moving" appearance to the static building structure, the kinetic polycarbonate panels were adopted between the double grazing along with the LED lighting fixtures that can provide various colors achieving not only the attractive effect toward the Ginza street but also the ecological effect for decreasing thermal disturbance toward the building itself.
