Outline

This large scale project consists of three office buildings, a hotel, a hall, commercial building and parking area linked by a grand central pedestrian axis, "Queen Mall", allowing visitors to walk all the way from Landmark Tower to the "Pacifico Yokohama" complex. The massing of the three office buildings and hotel gently rise towards the sea, harmonizing the skyline that stretches from Pacifico Yokohama to Landmark Tower. The Queen's Square development is integrated with a subway station and a grand atrium connects the building interior to a subway platform five stories underground. Natural light is drawn down to platform level and provides an explosion of space and activity upon arrival in contrast to the standard enclosed subway network.
