Kazuhito Osaki joined the urban planning section of Nikken Sekkei in 1990 after completing his doctorate at Waseda University with a dissertation entitled "An Empirical Study on the Advancement of Utility Systems in Urban Areas." Until 2008, he worked on domestic urban development projects and was also involved in public relations activities, such as "Kankyo Shinwa" and "22 Proposals and Suggestions for a New Capital City." He joined the PR section in 2014 and developed the branding strategy and PR tools. After moving to the Client Relations (Sales) Department in 2009, he has been involved in new business development and in building external relations, in addition to architectural design and urban development-related work. He became Nikken Group Vice President in 2014, and then President in 2022.
