Commitment to quality enhancement

In November 1997, Nikken Sekkei became the first architectural design firm in Japan to obtain ISO 9001 certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and has maintained its certified status ever since.
Since acquiring the certification, the company has followed its quality management system (QMS) in line with ISO standards, continuously working to improve quality through initiatives such as the design review system.
In addition to these efforts, Nikken Sekkei has established an internal award program that recognizes excellence across departments based on criteria such as architectural design, technical innovation, urban planning, and the precision of design documentation. This initiative aims to foster a stronger awareness of quality enhancement among all employees.
