As the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi is characterized by a rich collection of heritage spaces where architecture and nature are closely intertwined, forming a distinctive cultural identity shaped by rivers, lakes, and courtyards. The terminal seeks to reflect this legacy while fulfilling its role as a ceremonial gateway welcoming VIP passenger from around the world. he roof form responds to the tropical climate, reflecting ancestral climatic wisdom, while the dual-roof configuration creates layered interior volumes that enhance spatial richness. Local materials, including timber and bamboo, are incorporated to form warm, semi-outdoor spaces that seamlessly connect interior functions with landscaped gardens. Also, Connecting VIP terminal and Private terminal by courtyard creates functional and unique form, and the courtyard appeals the beautiful Vietnamese nature to the world.
