The entire design aims to project a strong image of Bangladesh’s rich culture and history. The airport will be developed in five phases to accommodate a progressively increasing number of travelers, ultimately reaching a total capacity of 80 million passengers per annum. The layout of the terminal development is configured to host a multi-access terminal as its central point, ensuring the highest accessibility rate during each phase of construction. In the final phase, the terminal building complex will operate as a mega-terminal.
