ttour:hontrfini:2025 WINTER65Annual 2025 | WORKS ShabohFukuoka｜Boエスエス／SS｜TopishPhoogaphyom西日本写房福岡／N 西鉄電車 天神大牟田線 春日原駅、白木原駅、下大利駅、雑餉隈駅、桜並木駅 Kasugabaru Station, Shirakibaru Station, Shimo-Ōri Station, Zasshonokuma Station, and Sakuranamiki Station on the Nishitetsu Railway Tenjin-Omuta LineThis project involved the elevation of five stations along the Tenjin-Omuta Line, which runs through the central part of the city of Fukuoka. Recognizing that a station plays an important role as the entrance point to a local district, we designed all five stations to serve as gateways to their surrounding areas. In designing each sta-tion’s facade, we paid careful attention to elements like the natural environment and local history and selected architectural shapes, materials, and colors to reflect the local context.
