The exhibition presented design concepts that support sustainable, fulfilling lifestyles and connect the living spaces of the past with those of the future. Nikken Housing System, originally spun off from Nikken Sekkei in 1970, has spent 55 years addressing the challenges of housing complexes. In 2025, the former subsidiary remerged with the company, and is now the Nikken Sekkei Housing System Group, marking a new beginning. The exhibition showcased ideas for next-generation housing developed over decades, with future showings planned for Nikken Sekkei’s Osaka office and other venues.2025 年9月20日、シカゴ・アテネウム建築デザイン博物館とヨーロッパ建築・アート・デザイン・2025」の受賞式がギリシャ・アテネで開催され、日建設計が設計に携わった 4 つのプロジェクFour Nikken Sekkei projects were recognized at the awards ceremony for the prestigious International Architecture Awards (IAA) 2025 in Athens, Greece, organized by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
