Ashikaga Red Cross Hospital Wins First Prize in the First International NVTG IFHE Building Award
The Netherlands Society for Tropical Medicine & International Health (NVTG), the host organization of the 24th Congress of the International Federation of Hospital Engineering (IFHE) held in The Hague, Netherlands, in April 2016, called for submissions for its global award program for building projects excelling in the field of health care and selected the winner of its first International NVTF IFHE Building Award.
Of the 40 projects submitted from countries around the world, two were from Japan. Judging was done from the three perspectives of physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing, and social wellbeing, and first prize was awarded to Ashikaga Red Cross Hospital.
