Astra Tower Topping Off Ceremony in Jakarta

The topping off ceremony was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, for Astra Tower, a multifunction building comprising the Astra International headquarters, and the Ananda Maya Residences on February 20, 2017, coinciding with the Astra International’s 60th anniversary.
The project client is Astra International, one of Indonesia’s most prominent conglomerates.
The ceremony was attended by the CEO of Astra International, Prijono Sugiarto, and various executives from corporate groups including Robert Wong, CEO of Hong Kong Land, a housing developer, as well as other business invitees. Also, numerous domestic and international media were present.
The site is situated at the Sudirman Central Business District with a 166,000 square meter plot area. Astra Tower is 261 meters in height, making it the tallest skyscraper in the area.
After the ceremony, there was a brief presentation of the architectural design and construction at the tower, which is still under construction. The presentation was broadcast on various multimedia, domestically and internationally.
