At the 2025 Jin-Yue Natural Resources Science and Technology Awards, the project "Guangzhou Railway Station Area Renewal, Remodeling Plan and Digitalization Governance" received the Gold Award for Planning and Design Achievements.
The Guangzhou Railway Station area is one of the four key areas in Guangzhou's urban renewal project. This project explored methods to promote the coordinated development of the area by leveraging the renewal of transportation hubs, by integrating urban design, transportation infrastructure development, urban renewal, and improvement of the quality of public spaces in an integrated and systematic manner. The aim is to transform the renewal of the old city from "partial repairs" to "structural restructuring."

| overview | This project targets urban renewal in the area south of Guangzhou Station, creating an "urban runway" by radiating multiple distinctive axes from the Guangzhou Railway Station. We aim to extend the city's green ecology and urban appeal to its outskirts, creating a new urban center for Guangzhou. In addition, by creating a comprehensive underground pedestrian network where old and new elements coexist and provide easy access, we will form a super hub and promote regional revitalization and development. |
