Nikken Sekkei is happy to announce that Tokyu Ginza Plaza has earned an honorable mention in the B-4 Specialized Building category at this year’s edition of ARCASIA Awards for Architecture.
Tokyu Plaza Ginza is a commercial development located in Ginza, Tokyo, one of the most renowned commercial districts in Japan. Surrounded by streets on all sides, the building harmoniously sits at the connection point between two districts, creating a new landmark in the area. Its façade, mainly composed of glass, reveals the inner activities to the outside, allowing a visual interaction with the city.
