~Starting with Kurobe City in Toyama Prefecture—which has a population of 40,000 and an elderly population exceeding 30 percent—we are building a new community development model in which residents, local government, and businesses work together to address regional welfare and mobility issues and take action~
SMART Fukushi Lab, a general incorporated association promoting digital transformation (DX) in social welfare (Location: Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture; Representative Director: Jun Maeda), and Nikken Sekkei Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo; Representative Director President and CEO:Atsushi Omatsu), and Zukai Soken Co., Ltd. (located in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo; Representative: Tetsuro Kondo), which specializes in visualizing complex information through diagrams, are launching the Community Drive Project, which aims to develop human resources and tools to solve local mobility challenges.Starting today, the project will begin holding workshops where diverse participants will gather to identify mobility challenges across various public sectors, engage in resident-led discussions, and visualize the current state of local mobility. Through a series of workshops spanning six months, the project plans to hold a debriefing session in February of next year.
