Stadium Remodel Open to the City and the People
This involves a large-scale, renovation plan for Camp Nou, one of soccer’s sacred ground. Owned by members known as socios, FC Barcelona has a democratic nature, which was expressed with a concourse and terrace covered by eaves in the same shape, running along the entire perimeter. The plan is to eliminate the exterior so that the spectators standing in the concourse could become part of the city’s scenery.
