Sohei Kittaka

In 1989, he completed the master’s program at Tohoku University Graduate School and joined Nikken Sekkei.
He has been involved in a wide range of design projects both in Japan and abroad, including concert halls, office buildings, hotels, and hospitals. In recent years, he has focused primarily on the design of medical facilities, and his project “MINAMI SEIKYO HOSPITAL” won the Architectural Institute of Japan’s Selected Works Award, the Healthcare and Welfare Architecture Award, and the People-Friendly City Planning Grand Prize. His design philosophy is that “patients come to see wonderful medical staff.”
He is a First-Class Architect, an APEC Architect, a Registered Architect with the Japan Institute of Architects, a Certified Registered Medical Practice Management Consultant, and a Visiting Professor at Fujita Health University.
