Masahiro Nakatani

After graduating from Osaka University of Arts, he worked as a commercial facility designer before moving to the United Kingdom in 1989. He earned a diploma from the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London. He worked on various projects in the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Japan at architectural firms such as David Chipperfield Architects and Kohn Pedersen Fox. After joining Nikken Sekkei in 2015, he has been responsible for projects such as One Za’abeel, Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono, and Mumbai BKC (scheduled for 2026). He maintains close liaison with clients and strives to maximize value. He is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
