Mikio Kiyoto

After graduating from the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1995, he joined the Civil Engineering Division of Nikken Sekkei. Following the spin-off of Nikken Sekkei Civil, he was transferred to that company; in 2006, he was seconded to Nikken Sekkei Construction Management, and in 2009, he was transferred to that company.In 2024, he was appointed to the position of Vice President at Executive Officer. In 2025, he transferred to Nikken Sekkei, where he currently holds his current position.In the design field, he has a track record primarily in civil engineering design for urban infrastructure and underground structures, as well as integrated architectural and civil engineering design for plant facilities such as steel mills and power plants. In the CM field, he has accumulated experience in project management (PM) and construction management (CM) for the construction of cutting-edge production and research facilities—including domestic and international pharmaceutical and cosmetics plants—as well as facilities related to renewable energy sources such as hydrogen and solar power.
