Mikio Kiyoto

Mikio Seidou joined Nikken Sekkei after graduating from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1995 with a degree in civil engineering. Following the spin-off, he transferred to Nikken Sekkei Civil Engineering, was seconded to Nikken Sekkei Construction Management in 2006, and formally transferred there in 2009. In 2024, he was appointed vice president and executive officer at Nikken Sekkei Construction Management. In 2025, he transferred again to the parent company, Nikken Sekkei, to assume his current post. He is experienced in the civil engineering of urban infrastructure and underground structures, and the integrated architectural and civil engineering design for steel mills, power plants and other facilities. He has accumulated PM (Project Management) and CM (Construction Management) experience domestically and internationally, for advanced production and research facilities in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, as well as facilities related to renewable energy such as hydrogen and solar.
