Motohiko Hirose

In 1991, he completed his graduate studies in architecture at the Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University, and joined Nikken Sekkei. He has been involved in a wide range of projects spanning both the public and private sectors, from urban and regional master plans to public-private partnership initiatives, urban planning, and development. He has led various projects in cities across Japan, including urban regeneration projects in the Kansai region such as the Umekita Phase II District, urban planning along Meiji-dori in Tenjin, Fukuoka, and redevelopment projects for the Toyota Station Front Street and the Sakuramachi District in Kumamoto. Within the broader context of architectural and urban spaces, he addresses a wide range of challenges related to both physical infrastructure and social systems. Certified Professional Engineer (Construction Division: Urban and Regional Planning); Full Member of the Redevelopment Coordinators Association.
