Naoto Nakamura

In 2008, after completing his master’s degree at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering at Kagoshima University, he joined Nikken Housing Systems. Specializing in architectural design, he has worked on a wide range of residential projects, including large-scale and high-rise residential buildings, nursing homes, and urban redevelopment projects both in Japan and abroad.The “Wellcare Garden Fukasawa” project, on which he worked, received awards including the Mipim Asia Special Jury Award (2018) and the Tokyo Architecture Award for Excellence (2019). He was an early adopter of BIM-based design and, while at Nikken Housing Systems, concurrently served as the BIM Promotion Manager, driving efforts to streamline and advance design processes.He joined Nikken Sekkei in 2025. He is a First-Class Architect and a member of the Architectural Institute of Japan.
