Takeshi Mukai

After completing his master’s degree at the Berlage Institute in the Netherlands, he worked at architectural firms in the Netherlands and Italy before joining the Nikken Group in 2010.
He specializes in design management for interior design proposals—particularly in hotel development—that involve collaboration with domestic and international experts.He has a track record of working on international projects and luxury hotels—both domestic and foreign-owned—including “CONRAD OSAKA,” the “Hawaii Kahala Hotel & Resort Renovation,” “Kuwait International Bank Branches,” “W OSAKA,” and “WALDORF ASTORIA OSAKA.”
Working closely with clients and operators, he strives to maximize a project’s business viability and market appeal while carefully building consensus among all stakeholders.
