Takuya Maruyama
Director
After graduating from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Kyushu Institute of Technology in 1991, he joined Nikken Sekkei. Starting in 1992, he worked in the Nagoya Office designing electrical systems. From 2009 onward, he was in charge of on-site supervision in the Supervision Department.
I was responsible for the design of electrical systems for projects such as Lexus dealerships, Meijo University, Aichi University, Aichi Shukutoku University, Tsu Boat, and the Nagoya Lucent Tower.
In my role as a site supervisor, I have managed various projects—such as data centers and airports—where operations continued during renovations, focusing on electrical and IT infrastructure where even minor issues must be avoided.
Since I’m not particularly skilled with my hands, my motto is to “consistently carry out” even the smallest tasks to the best of my ability.
