In 1986, after graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at Hiroshima University, he joined Nikken Sekkei. He has been involved in the design of numerous hotels from Hokkaido to Okinawa, including the Swissôtel Nankai Osaka and the Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima. He also has extensive design experience across a wide range of building types, including educational facilities, government buildings, offices, gymnasiums, broadcasting stations, commercial facilities, and research institutes.
He has received numerous awards, including the Architectural Institute of Japan Project Selection Award, the JIA Environmental Architecture Award, the Public Architecture Award, and the Good Design Award.
He specializes in creating architecture that embodies the spirit of hospitality cultivated through hotel design, as well as environmentally conscious architectural design, exemplified by Mizunami Municipal Mizunami North Junior High School, which achieved ZEB status.
First-Class Architect, Member of the Architectural Institute of Japan, and Registered Architect with the Japan Institute of Architects.
