Yusuke Sakai

After completing his master's degree at Kyoto University in 2008, he joined Nikken Sekkei. He is a structural engineer. Since joining the company, he has been in charge of structural design for a variety of buildings, including offices, schools, hospitals, research institutes, government facilities, train stations, and renovation projects. He became a leader in structural design BIM both inside and outside the company after using BIM in a project he designed himself. In 2018, with the aim of promoting data linkage for structural BIM, he released the accumulated structural design BIM knowledge cultivated at Nikken Sekkei as SBDT (Structural BIM Design Tool).
Leveraging the programming skills and structural design experience acquired after joining the company, I am exploring new possibilities in structural design while developing structural engineering tools such as NSmos and implementing BIM management. I am a licensed first-class structural engineer.
