We are releasing a series of special talk videos featuring leading experts from various fields and architectural designers, exploring the theme of how “spaces” are changing in the wake of the spread of the coronavirus.
For the second installment, we welcomed Professor Hiroaki Miyata of Keio University’s School of Medicine as our guest to discuss how digital transformation is reshaping society.
His discussion partner is Yu Goto from the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Design Group at Nikken Sekkei (Engineering Department) (Associate).

About the Beyond COVID-19 Special Talk
Industries such as entertainment and food service, which have provided services through "places"—not just urban planning and architecture—have been forced to undergo significant transformations due to the recent pandemic and are still in the midst of searching for solutions. As a company that has been proposing spaces where people gather through urban design and architectural design, we hope to share our knowledge and engage in discussions with people from various fields across industries, more than ever before, in order to envision a new future together with you all. This special talk was planned as the first step in that direction.
