After graduating from the Department of Civil Engineering at Kyoto University’s Faculty of Engineering in 1990, he joined Nikken Sekkei; following a transfer to the spin-off company Nikken Sekkei Civil, he was reassigned back to Nikken Sekkei.Early in his career, he worked on underground structures such as the Kamiyacho Underground Mall in Hiroshima City. Following the 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake, he increasingly took on bridge projects, including the Hiroshima Nishi-ohashi Bridge and the pedestrian deck at the North Exit Plaza of Gifu Station. After being seconded to a railway company in 2015, he also began working on railway facilities.While working on various facilities in the civil engineering department, I strive to coordinate planning and design while maintaining effective communication. I hold a First-Class Architect license and am a Certified Professional Engineer (Construction Division, General Engineering; Construction Administration Department).
