Masanori Tasaka

Masanori Tasaka joined Nikken Sekkei after completing studies at Kobe University's graduate school in 1994. Since then, he has been engaged in structural design in a wide range of fields from office buildings to production facilities. His project responsibilities have included the Tohoku Electric Power Company Head Office Building, Shin-Yokohama Chuo Building (“Cubic Plaza Shin-Yokohama"), Kuji City Civic Gymnasium, and Tokyo Skytree. In addition to his domestic credits, he has taken charge of overseas projects in China, Vietnam,and Dubai. In 2012, he was transferred to the Corporate Planning Section, where he headed the revision of the personnel system. In 2015, as General Manager of the Architectural Design Department, he assisted in business management, and personnel recruitment, training, and evaluation. From the same period, he has been working to build a knowledge-sharing system that connects the organization with insights generated from projects. He has concurrently served as head of the Project Information Section since 2021, and has held his current position since 2024. He is a first-class structural engineer, a professional engineer (steel structure and concrete), and holds a JIA (Japan Institute of Architects) membership.
