Masato Ito

He completed his graduate studies in Urban Engineering at the University of Tokyo and joined the company in 2008. Drawing on his extensive experience in urban planning and urban design projects both in Japan and abroad, he is currently pioneering new areas by providing comprehensive design solutions for public spaces that integrate both physical infrastructure and soft elements.Recognizing that improving the quality of public space management contributes to enhancing a city’s value, at SHIBUYA KITAYA PARK, he is responsible for everything from planning during the Park-PFI public proposal phase to designated management operations for park management after completion, and is exploring new models for community-based park management and area management.Other major projects include the Suzhou Wuzhong District Underground Space and the Shingu-shita Park development project.
