Mitsuharu Tsuruoka

In 1995, after graduating from Musashi Institute of Technology (now Tokyo City University), he joined Nikken Housing Systems (NHS). His specialty is architectural design.
He has been responsible for design across a wide range of fields centered on multi-family housing, including projects utilizing various development methods, high-end rental properties, and mixed-use buildings combining residential and commercial spaces. In recent years, he has also been involved in design projects across various fields, primarily focused on collective housing facilities such as hotel condominiums and senior residences. At NHS, he served as Design Principal, Construction Administration Group.
He received the Good Design Award for “La Tour Daikanyama” (2011) and “Lions Tachikawa Grandfort” (2014). He has also won international awards for condominium redevelopment projects and senior residences. He joined Nikken Sekkei in 2025.
He is a First-Class Architect and a member of the Japan Institute of Architects and the Architectural Institute of Japan.
