PROUD EBISU HILLSIDE GARDEN

The plan for this "urban complex" features a hotel, nursing care facility (day service), and childcare facility attached to a residential condominium, and allows for a diverse range of people to coexist. The “crystalline” concept expresses the culture and nature of Tokyo’s Ebisu area, as well as the diverse people in the residential complex, as “shining, crystallized crystals”. In the common space leading from the facility entrance, a serene, sparkling crystal welcomes residents from deep within a cave-like space notched out of massive supportive rock formations. Liquid dripping from the ceiling mingles with rays of light, crystallizing with a pleasant sound. This quiet liquid crystallization suggests that this is a place to regain one's true self.
