Toshihisa Ogawa

After graduating from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Ritsumeikan University’s College of Science and Engineering in 2000, he joined Nikken Sekkei. His specialty is electrical systems design. He approaches his work by valuing the perspectives of both builders and users, striving to create comfortable engineering solutions that seamlessly integrate with architecture.
In addition to large-scale projects such as the Nippon Life Mutual Insurance Company East Building (recipient of the Facility Encouragement Award from the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers of Japan), the Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Osaka Yodoyabashi Building (ODONA), Nakanoshima Festival Tower West, and Kyoto Research Park, he has been responsible for designs across a wide range of facilities, including government offices, educational institutions, data centers, and research laboratories.
