Yugo Yagita

After completing a master’s degree program at the Graduate School of Natural Sciences, Chiba University, in 2007, he joined Nikken Sekkei.As a building services and environmental engineer, he was primarily responsible for the mechanical systems design of offices and large-scale mixed-use facilities. Since 2015, his work has focused primarily on the design of energy plants and district heating and cooling facilities planned as part of large-scale redevelopment projects. These include the Sumitomo Corporation Yaesu Building, Shibuya Hikarie,Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation East Building, and the Toyosu Energy Center. While promoting energy conservation and decarbonization in urban development, I strive to design user-friendly systems that are simple to operate. My motto is to support clients by staying closely involved with projects—from the initial planning stage through to completion—to help realize buildings that will be cherished by clients for years to come.
