Koji Ootani

Graduated from Kobe University Graduate School in 1995. After working for a general contractor, joined Nikken Sekkei in 2008. Specializes in architectural structural design.
He has design experience across a wide range of building sectors, including manufacturing facilities, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, offices, hotels, and commercial buildings, as well as various structural systems such as base-isolated, vibration-dampened, super-high-rise, and seismic retrofitting.
He strives to develop optimal structural plans from the client’s perspective.
He is a First-Class Architect, a First-Class Structural Design Architect, and a Certified Professional Engineer (Construction Division). He is a member of the Japan Association of Structural Engineers and the Architectural Institute of Japan.
