A Center for Exchange that Reflects the Passage of Time

Here we designed a base for creating and sharing new art and culture while meeting and interacting with people of various backgrounds and interests. The facility is comprised of a museum, small theater, studio space for experiencing artistic productions, and a gallery that shares the history and culture of the area. The exterior features non-surface treated copper plates (Akagane), which were the basis for the development of the city of Niihama and are highly weather-resistant as a construction material.
