LGT Wealth Management Trust Inc.

This project involved the interior design of the first Japanese office for a foreign financial institution. Recognizing the company's integrity and client-first philosophy—which values traditional virtues and has built trusting relationships with clients across generations—as being similar to the Japanese concept of "omotenashi" (hospitality), the aim was to create a welcoming space that conveys meticulous attention to detail. In the entrance, guests are enveloped in soft light emanating from wooden lattices. The spatial composition, which gives a sense of depth, and the design reminiscent of a courtyard garden invite guests into the office. In the conference rooms, Japanese elements such as washi paper, plaster walls, and traditional Japanese patterns are scattered throughout, and the high-quality furnishings, crafted by skilled artisans, enhance the sense of formality.
