Kozo Kumagawa

In 1991, he completed his graduate studies at the Graduate School of Engineering, Kyushu University, and joined Nikken Sekkei that same year. After working at the Osaka office (Architectural Design Department), he was transferred to Kyushu in 1998. During this time, he was responsible for the design of a wide variety of projects, including offices, educational facilities, social welfare facilities, medical facilities, commercial facilities, research facilities, and urban development studies.He subsequently transferred to Construction Administration Department. In recent years, he has served as the on-site supervisor for large-scale projects in the Kyushu region—including the Nagasaki Prefectural Government office building, the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Hospital, and the Kumamoto Station Building—and has been involved in a wide variety of projects in the field of construction supervision. He holds certifications including First-Class Architect and Earthquake-Damaged Building Damage Classification and Restoration Engineer.
