After graduating from the Graduate School of Engineering at Kyoto University in 2007, he joined Nikken Sekkei. His specialty is structural design. His major projects include the “Otsuka Group Osaka Headquarters Building,” “Zaha Hadid Architects + Design JV Proposal for the New National Stadium,” “Ryukoku University Omiya Campus East Hall,” “W Osaka,”and the “Entrance Extension for the Toyo Ceramic Art Museum.” In addition to structural safety and rationality, he places great importance on approaching structural design from the perspective of the architectural (project) narrative. He has received awards such as the JSCA Award for Best Project and the Japan Structural Design Award. He is a First-Class Architect specializing in structural design and a member of the Japan Society of Structural Engineers, the Japan Structural Engineers Club, and the Architectural Institute of Japan.
