Tadao Kamei joined Nikken Sekkei in 1981 after completing his master's degree in Engineering at Waseda University. His design pedigree as an architect includes the JT Building, Queen's Square Yokohama, Toranomon Kotohira Tower, Tokyo Station Yaesu Development - GranRoof, Tokyo Skytree, and the YKK 80 Building. He is a registered first-class architect and a member of the AIJ (Architectural Institute of Japan).
