YKK 80 Building

This building in Akihabara houses the head office of a global company. The main façade which faces westward is covered with “sudare” screens, made from delicate extruded aluminum materials that create a unique sense of presence. This façade counteracts the intense sunlight, while also providing a filtering effect for those inside the building looking out.
