Takatoshi Takatsu joined Nikken Sekkei in 1998 after completing studies at Shinshu University's graduate school of engineering. Thereafter, he worked in the design and planning sections before beginning his current post in the Urban and Civil Project Department. He has taken charge of numerous domestic projects, including waste treatment facilities, environmental assessments, and urban development and architectural project management (PM). Leveraging his extensive consulting experience with urban waste treatment facilities in Tokyo, including Musashino and Machida, he has been involved in environmental assessments, urban development PM, and architectural PM for logistics, medical, and factory facilities. He is a professional engineer (waste management, urban and regional planning) and a board member of the Japan Association of Environment Assessment (JEAS, where he is chairman of the Overseas Exchange Seminar Committee).
