Taro Nakamoto joined Nikken Sekkei in 1991 after completing his graduate studies at Tokyo University of the Arts. He has been involved in a wide range of projects from museums to schools, commercial facilities, hotels, and skyscrapers, and has created many buildings with strong presences in Japan and abroad. His major projects include Konami Super Campus (2007), Hoki Art Museum (2011), Concert Hall 6 at Tokyo University of the Arts (2014), Tokyu Plaza Ginza (2016), Museum Tower Kyobashi (2019), Goertek Global R&D Headquarters (2020), HD Hyundai Global R&D Center (2022), and MUWA Niseko (2023), among others. He is a first-class architect, and holds the JIA (Japan Institute of Architects) and the AIJ (Architectural Institute of Japan) memberships.
