Tomoyuki Ashida

Tomoyuki Ashida joined Nikken Sekkei in 1989 after completing his master’s degree at Osaka University. He specializes in architectural design and digital design. Since joining the firm, he has been in charge of various large scale complexes, rental offices, head office buildings, and hotels. His accolades include The JIA (Japan Institute of Architects) Architects of the Year award, an AIJ (Architectural Institute of Japan) Selected Architectural Design award, a Good Design Award, a CTBUH (Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat) Renovation Award, a BELCA (Building and Equipment Long-life Cycle Association) Award, and a BCS (Building Contractors Association) Prize. He is a registered first-class architect, an AIJ member, and a registered JIA and APEC architect.
