In 2007, after completing his graduate studies at Waseda University, he joined Nikken Sekkei. His specialty is mechanical engineering design.
Grand Front Osaka He worked on natural ventilation systems for the South Wing of the Anan City Office; a one-way air conditioning system with full-ceiling air discharge for the Nippon Life East Wing; and a heat source system utilizing groundwater, thinned timber, and solar heat for the Kyoto City Hall Annex, for which he received the Technical Award from the Society of Heating, Air-Conditioning and Sanitary Engineers of Japan, among other honors.
In 2017, I was seconded to an Australian consulting firm for two years and returned to Japan inspired by their cutting-edge engineering and work styles.He was involved in the launch of the Sustainable Design Lab, established in 2021, and aims to become an engineer who looks toward the future and solves societal challenges—ranging from global issues such as decarbonization to the use of IoT and robots in building management and the streamlining of design systems.
